It is the responsibility of the DJ to find out what fee is due to the IMRO for the published works within their mix, and it will be their responsibility to pay this fee themselves. This same rule may also apply to MCs who have sent a recording of what they do on top of other people’s music.
Any artist who has put a demo on this site of them playing a cover version of a published work will again be responsible for finding out what fee is due to the IMRO, and they will in turn be responsible for paying this fee themselves.
